We've enhanced our support forums to track open and completed issues. When posting in here a new ticket will be created for our staff to assist. When the issue is complete and resolution has been attained, we will close the tickets. This will create a more effecient method to address any possible issues or questions.

I am very bummed out right now and here is why, I have been flying for about 3 yrs now and have competed in pattern contests consider myself an advanced pilot. Yesterday I made such a rookie move in crashing my 50 size pattern plane. After what I would consider a good flight in windy conditions I was on final approach and watched the plane drift towards our barrier fence I gave throttle and right rudder but the plane did not respond. All I had to do was pull elevator and it would have been a happy ending but I just watched it go into the fence and totally destroyed. It was kind of a "deer in the head lights" syndrome. Has anyone experienced this also?

Hi CAFEAL,

You posted your question to a thread that will not be likely to get you the most help. May I suggest that you start a new thread in the Radio and Electronics forum. Since this is not really a support issue, but more of a general use issue.

There are ways to set up what you want. If you do a search for Engine Kill, Throttle Cut off, or some other combination, you may find several suggestion. One method would be to set up a throttle to throttle mix on an open switch. This would allow you to throw one switch and have the throttle move to a new endpoint and cut off the engine.

On the other side (elevators) you can plug one servo into the elevator channel and the other into an open channel. Then you can use another mix to get them moving together. It is not as easy to set up as a radio with a dedicated elevator mix function. You will need to take care to make sure that both servos respond correctly to trim adjustments and so forth. I have never done it with that radio.
