Cannot upload small jpg file

I get "upload failed". I have tried three different jpg files, including the very small one that I use for my avatar (3K).

I'm unable to upload jpg attachments at the moment too, get the same error. Usually they work. There may be a problem at the site, try again later or after the holiday long weekend is over.

Anyone else having same problem?
