Chat doesn't work?

I can't use the chat option. I don't know why, everything else works for me. I was trying at both internet explorer and Opera browser.

when you go to essentials and click on giant chat it should log you in automatically

Yeah I can't get past the FG Chat Login screen. Asks for my user id and there are three buttons, Login, Float, or Register. I tried all three buttons and get the below error messages.

Error Connecting. Please try again.
Connecting To Server...
