Seriously, when I saw this kid fly, I almost went home. He hovered his plane for 10 minutes like it was no big deal. I have only been flying 18 months, so I was just jeleous.

Well I will say here what I said over there. I was a member there before I came to the FC but spent most of my online time at the FC because information was easier to find and it was intertaining. Threads on FC where not 40 pages deep and I didn't have to wade through personal "conversation" to find what I was looking for. I used RCU to do comparisons on equipment but not much else. To me the FC seemed like a small town where every one knew each other (even if you had never met in person) and knew what to expect when you posted something. The RCU site is like a big city, lots to do and see but not a place a small town guy could call home. And besides that the avatar pictures are too small.

So now I don't know where I will spend my online time. I may actually have to go out into the real world and meet real people, eeeewwwww.

I think Dolly the sheep was more real than what they are pushing as the "FLYING CIRKUS". Hats off to them for the try, but like I said, in my opinion they should have done it on their own. And not with RCU having their back. Hell, on the Cirkus, we just got RCU to presure some guy to give a guy his money back for selling him a bum Powerbox! And now that site that is full of God knows what kind of people, mixed in with whatever % is like us, is the host? If they would have even did a cheap, do it yourself free website off of google, and had no graphics; it would have been better.

The town analogy is a good one. As I said before FG is great (but/and) it is entirely new. I think that was the intention anyway. There are too many cirkus clowns (myself totally included) that are trying to resurrect flyingcirkus but are missing the point. Max never said "this is the new cirkus". This is completely separate and new.
