How can you guys sit around here and support this place after what he did to his friends. He totally hung them out to dry. Friends don't do that to each other. It's total BS in my opinion. I won't support someone that would stab me in the back. Basically you all have to make your own decisions based on what you hear. I'm making an informed decision on what I know. I've personally talked with all parties involved and I feel that this ain't right. Joe and Jason were hosed.

OK, I will make it easier to understand. First, the disolution of Flying Cirkus is a big dissapointment. Right? And even the atempt to revive it, or even re-invent it is kind of a dissapointment as well...in a way. A good thing went Kaput, and I bet some friendships were lost. Two "factions" have emerged, and that sucks. RCU had its purpose, but in no way was it the Cirkus. Do you agree? Didn't we help a member get his money back from a creep who sold him a stolen Powerbox that he found under water? Didn't RCU chastize a few of us (including me) for coming to his aid? That would have never slid on the Cirkus. He would of been black balled in a flash. And even more than being dissapointed that there is a new Flying Giants, with the same look and feel, but just not 100% right, I am more dissapointed that RCU of all folks is a part of the so called "original Cirkus". Hear me so far? I have no ill will, or any negative feelings twards Smoke or Show. I hope them the best. I hope they all kiss and make up, and everyone has a great year! I just wish that when they decided to take the name, they would have launched it by themselves. No help. No outside anything. And no RCU blaring pop up adds during your whole session on the site. Am I anti-RCU? I suppose I am a little upset with them. I have every right to be, don't I? I guarentee that the folks who run that site are grinning ear to ear about their new "side" to RCU. I bet they feel that to us, a large portion of the hobbiests who go a little farther than the weekend guy, now think they are just a bit more "hip" to us. And I don't want to see them try and validate, to us, their website by using Smoke and Show. And like it or not, that is what alot of folks see out there. Just imagine what it would have been like if Smoke and Show brought the Cirkus back from the grave, like in a month or so. With a new site all done by them, and controlled by them. Just like Maxx and Biff have done. Hell, I bet its a ton of work to do. It would have been like a mini second coming! Talk about the excitement it would have made! Instead, I read a post from the RCU guys about the Cirkus! The head dudes talking about the CIRKUS and RCU in the same sentence! And I am no purist! I would take a bribe and the cash faster than any of you. To me its just a website that I liked/like, as well as liking all of you folks, too. But it does have some pretty profound things going on, and it is fun to see what is happening. And I DONT CARE TO HEAR ANY REASON BY MAXX, BIFF, SHOWTIME, SMOKE, or anyone else. It dosen't mater. My dog didn't die for god sakes.

The reality is UNTILL THE FULL STORY IS OUT.. I"M NOT JUDGING ANYONE.

If your 100% right.. then WOW I'm shocked and saddened .
But if your not 100% right about the situation, then there is a shadow of a doubt.
In that case I'll wait for the WHOLE story, the details, and the posting of letters that were sent back and forth to everyone. I'll wait for the facts... and when I hear them I'll make my judgement.

This isn't true. I posted to a few threads in the last couple days that are gone. How many threads got locked or deleted from the cirkus in the last couple months.

Everyone bitches about RCU, and there sponsors, but most of the things you get at your LHS or on-line still come from Tower (Great Planes).

Anyone who hasn't gone along with this change has been flamed, or worse had there opinion deleted from the forum. Are you going to tell me that is rite. Most everyone has picked the side they will be on, that won't change. It won't mater who was rite or wrong. People have a write to there opinion. The Constitution of the United States gives us that rite. To bad some of you have never heard of it.

And the cool thing about the Giants is, so far they like all aspects of the hobby, as long as you are pushing the envelope or trying to fly the hell out of it. Sorry If you feel/felt that I have anything against Nexstars or any plane that is not gaint scale.

Na, I didn't miss the point, I completely understand where your coming from, I may however have read too much into the Nexstar thing. You expressed your opinion about RCU Cirkus and I just didn't comment on it because you have a right to your opinion, I just interpreted your statement as excluding certain flyers for whatever reason (that's just how it read) and I don't think old Cirkus, new Cirkus, Giants or anyone wants to present that image. You have made it clear that was not your intentions also, so it's all good.
