just to be different, I think this is hilarious how all you get all wrapped up in this website deal,

I just like to go on the internet to look talk about rc and look at cool planes. Giants is gonna be real cool but RCU has some great threads too about planes I like and I will post everywhere.

Chopped, I see your point but still don't understand your utter dislike of RCU. I can find fault or good points about any of the RC sites.

I think this site as well as RCU and the Cirkus needs to find some common ground to move forward. I know! We can all agree that DOD sucks!

Yes, BasinBum, DOD sucks.....except the chicks ass in the green bikini. Nice little ass in my book. I always used RCU for finding a website, or for a reference. I always heard horror stories with the selling stuff, but I have heard them on ebay as well. I like that if I know just part of a name of a mfg., I could find it. But I have been told in an email to not use "sexual" tones in my posts by a moderator, and I said less than I just said about that chicks ass. The "flying cirkus" and "RCU" had different "tones" because the attitudes of those behind it showed through. Thats all. And I bet anything that in the back of those cats minds, they are thinking they just scored big. And in my dealings in life, I have seen real *******s take a situation like this, and leverage it hard! If they don't have lawyers involved, RCU could sue down the road for the Cirkus name if they wanted. And I don't think any of the 11,000+ members would be stoked to see that.

I think Chopped is right on actually. I like RCU but more of the guys on Flying Cirkus are into the same kinda planes and flying style as I am. It's all cool but when your first interest is 3D it's good to know you are in good company vs a site where some guy's gonna step in and say "3D flyers are ignorant and dangerous..." blah blah blah.

Maybe FC will be just as cool on RCU and I'll read all the sites but everyone has a place they check into first when the get online. Mine was Flying Cirkus....now it may be Flying Giants, who knows.

If you think Chopped is off base on his nerdie remarks, then try impressing the next gal you meet by telling her you Huck it Cirkus Style with model airplanes.....the hobby is cool as hell but it's our secret.

I dunno the facts... I read what Joe posted at RCU... It sounds pretty bad...I have not read a response from Max...

Max has not asked me to take sides... Joe and Jason have not asked me to take sides.... Do I have to take sides?
I gotta also say the vibe from the original FC was not all from Joe, or from Jason or from Max.... the vibe was from the 18,372 registered RC Huckers and Wannabe-Huckers....
I have read the RCU post from Joe, and heard some 2nd and 3rd hand accounts... I can't ascertain yet if there is sufficient content to have an opinion that should warrent my turning my back to Giants....
But... I have some friends here... I hope to see'em at the FC section of RCU as well...
I kinda feel a bit like a child of a divorced couple.... the FC was my "Virtual Home" yuh'know... the split kinda hurt everyone I guess... but ... it will get better.....
