What is subscribing me to threads? Not me.

Hi,

I am getting subscribed to threads automatically from this site. I unsubscribed but I'm still getting e-mails. Is this a bug? I did visit the thread but not sure what's up with this.

Instant mail notification is the default setting. It is operating like it is supposed to, you can change it in your settings if you like.

This allows you to see when someone has answered a thread you have posted in, it's set like this for your convenience.

I went into the Settings, Options and turned it off. I never had this problem before, they must have automatically enabled it on all the member's settings.

Happens to me. That has never happened before, Kenny. Just started happening earlier in the week........

I've changed settings SEVERAL times, and still get notifications.......

Yes.. Everyone is right Kenny.. it's just acting funny and it did start a few days ago.

Me too. I never get notified of posts in threads I have replied in unless I specify it. And then I specify it for once a week only.

I have like 20 email's in my inbox form the last 26 hours.

dang, just realised my email is packed full of thread reply notifications.

Yep, things were recently changed as a service to our members. You can change it back to your previous setting, but the current subscriptions will have to be deleted also. I'll figure out how to do that and let you know. Give me a couple of minutes.

Ok boys, got it.

My profile and settings

You will see a "forum jump box", click the arrow.

Go to "Subscriptions", now you can pick and choose which ones you want to leave or which ones you waht to delete by clicking the box next to the listing, or click the box in the dark glue banner, at the top, and it will "select all".

Scroll to the bottom and click the arrow by "selected threads", you can choose to move them to a folder or delete subscription.
