First off, I want to congratulate QQ and all the other 18 competitors who all flew amazingly well. I have never witnessed such excellent flying throughout the whole contest. Secondly, I want to tell you all how well the contest was ran! Very professional. From a pilots perspective, I think I can speak for everybody when I say that we were all cheering for each other round after round as we all were flying flawless. Thanks to all that were involved and all that have been keeping track and comments. Hope to see you guys in two years and maybe I'll see some of you in two weeks at the Shootout. Congratulations again to QQ, it was well deserved and last but not least all my sponsors and people who helped, Desert Aircraft, Krill Model, JR PROPO, Tru-Turn, Aerographix, Hobby Lobby and my caller Will Berninger who was my leaning post. Thanks alot Max. I cannot begin to tell you how much your guys support and friendship means to me. I am with no surprise off to the Shootout in a few weeks. With 5 different known patterns and 5 unknown patterns it should be a very interesting contest. Look forward to seeing you and the flying giants crew out in Tucson. Best wishes to you and all the viewers, Jason Noll |

Just got done catching up on homework and thought I would drop in and post my thoughts. First, I would like to congratulate all the 18 competitors that flew at the Don Lowe Masters, everyone of the pilots deserved to be there. I had a great time hanging out with old friends and meeting many new ones. Mr Pat, Warren, Tom Miller and everyone associated with Triple Tree you sure know how to put on one classy event. Ms. Carol and Laura you know how to also keep me in line!! Congrats Quique on your first place finish, you are the man!! To all of the others Jason, Jason, Mark, Bernd, Chip and Sean you guys had some not so perfect conditions to fly in and flew your butts off, but that's what makes you the best of the best. I would like to give a big THANK YOU to my sponsors for helping me in getting to the Don Lowe Masters and allowing me to compete; JR/Horizon Hobby, Desert Aircraft, Powerbox, Composite-ARF, Shulman Avaition, Tru-Turn, Abell Hobbies,SWB,TME. Also Planewrappers for hooking me up with my music at the last minute Thanks Monty! I would not be where I am today without the support of family and friends, thanks Dad and Mom what can I say..... Joe, my brother and caller all I can do is say thanks, I owe you BIG! Larry Markey and Lynn Morgan thanks for making the long trip down, you put many hours of your personal time into getting me ready for this contest , I could not have done it without your help. Also, my girlfriend for sticking around me while I'm out playing with Model Airplanes and the cool thing is, is that she enjoys it. Lastly, a big thanks to Biff, you are the man. You have taught me that this is just a hobby, so now it is time to settle back into studying and school. Andrew Last edited by Animal Jesky; 10-12-2006 at 09:18 AM. |

| The Masters was a great event and I feel that I made a good showing in general. I want to thank Ryan McLaughlin and his family. He came out there from the start, and his calling for me and handling of things was just what I needed. Especially that long third Unknown when I was waiting for the roller that was 5 maneuvers later than I thought...lol. On the plus side, my Freestyle was the best I've had in my life and will continue to get better as I fly it more and add to it. Thank you Ryan and Dave. Some more practice and I won't let my Knowns keep me from placing higher, so I leave tomorrow morning for the Tucson Shootout. 2 weeks of solid practice should help with that. It was a great event as far as the way things were run and done. The sequences were challenging without being over-busy. They could probably stand to be a bit harder next time, but they flowed really well. Now if we can just move the sun off to the side I wouldn't be so sunburned. Special thanks to: Ryan McLaughlin and family Dave Stodart and Apopka and Ocala flyers Warren and Tom and all involved in the Don Lowe Masters Dennis and Debby Kirby, Kirby's Kustom Vinyl Graphics The Jesky family and the 5-star Hallmark Frank and Futaba crew Andreas, Marc, Melanie and Composite-ARF crew Charlie, Gene and Thunder Power crew Dave, Bryan and Brian and Desert Aircraft crew Ric and Tru-Turn crew Jim, Ed and Du-Bro crew Max and Flying Giants crew Al and Kevin and J'TEC/Radiowave crew Jack and Duralite crew Mike and Graph-Tech RC crew Albert and TME crew And especially my family. Even though no one was there, they all kept track and kept me going. Here's the plane set-up I used: Composite-ARF Extra 260 Futaba 14MZ radio Futaba 9152 and 9155 servos Thunder Power 4200 Rx batteries DA-150 with Greve's pipes A couple of 3-blade props (freestyle 28x12 AM and pattern 29x12AM) Duralite 4000 Ignition battery Composite-Creations pilot Kirby's Kustom Vinyl Graphics Tru-Turn 5" P-51 spinner Powerbox Champion Graph-Tech tail wheel TME smoke (I didn't get it in) Dubro, J'TEC, Vel-Tye and Shulman Aviation parts Everything worked great and the plane is already on it's way to Tucson. Thanks to all that supported and cheered for me and I hope to do better at the Shootout, especially better than past 3 times. Regards, Jason |
