The entire week at Triple Tree and the Masters was awsome, but there was one event that happened that not only deserves mentioning, but I think was by far the greatest thing of the entire week. Mr. Hartness, the Master's Committee, and the rest of the Triple Tree Crew wanted to thank an individual that not only works hard day in and out to support our hobby, but also an individual that had gone above and beyond when it came to supporting the Masters with his time and resources. Tony Russo was recognized as this individual. As a tribute to Tony for his genorosity and all of his hard work, the Famous Gazebo at Triple Tree Aerodome was renamed the "Dalton Russo Memorial Gazebo" after Tony's son Dalton that he lost at a very young age. The Gazebo will have a plaque mounted to it naming it the Dalton Russo Memorial Gazebo in honor of Tony and all his hard work, and especially his son. Thank you Tony for all you do for our hobby. This topped off one excellent week and one awsome competition. I dont believe there was a dry eye in the place when this dedication was presented at center stage. Once again, Thank You Tony for all you do, you are a man of many talents, a great family man, a great friend to all, and the perfect example of what we should all strive to be! Thank you!

John, I had heard that....thanks for posting it. I lost a 40% plane in the woods at this years Joe Nall, was heartbroken, and had never met Tony. He was the FIRST person in the woods searching for it. He did not and probably still does not know my name. He did not come out of those woods until my plane was found and to me, this is what RC modeling is and has been to me....and in my opinion no one deserves this more than he does. He would barely accept a thank you let alone anything else. Tony definitely gives more back to this hobby than he takes and I thank Pat Hartness and his boys for noticing it. Congratulations Tony and keep up the great work. Craig Korsen

Hey Tony, Im very happy and proud with all this. Personally I can say that your contribution to our hobby is great. I didn't know the reason that made you call your company Dalton Aviation but you know what, now I know why our planes are the best planes over the earth. Don't mention the building, materials or whatever you use to make them that is all the best, but when we put this animals in the air, always we are flying with an ANGEL named DALTON RUSSO. Wilson and me are very proud to be your friend and fly your planes and remember that your ANGEL is with us every flying day. See you my friend. Louis |

that was by far the best part of the week. Everyone of us was choked up when Sadler called Tony up and everyone of us agreed it was well deserved recognition. He is one of the nicest guys I have ever met in the hobby and not to mention one of the funniest.
