Thanks Jeff, my dad and I will be leaving High Point, NC aroung 8am. I think it's about a 8.5 hour drive, so we should be there around 4-5. i guess it will be getting dark around then, we just want to drop off the trailer, and set up the tent. If you don't think anyone will be there, we will try to leave earlier.

Just a bunch of friends, sharing a love for the hobby, and a warped sense of humor.

Kent,

I built my own 40%er last year - let's just say we aren't going there again anytime soon (you know why). I dont think it would feel much better getting whupped with a plane I built vs an ARF. I assembled.

Besides, the plastic planes fly WAAAAAAYYY better. heheheh

Oww, c'mon FWB. That there motor is for straight-lining. I was hoping to see you go with a turboprop on the 'stang:

Turbo prop. I can think of bout 4000 reasons not that. DA 85 is a Huck motor , lite weight and almost the grunt of a DA 100. Although it does have noticable more power than a 3W. WTF I know I did'ent go there.

Bring the new plane up tomorrow . We might have to change your name to fast Huck.

Sorry, buddy, I'd love to, but... I'm stuck with driving the Elky right now. That's $30 worth of petrol to Ashland verses just a couple $ to Ft. Lee Airport. I gotta pinch some pennies. I do want to see you huck the Big Edge soon though.

I upgraded the SU to a Little Sreamer BL motor. It will definately push it straight up outta sight. But suprizingly it will also slow to a walk. The high-rate thows I programmed in ought to make this think fun. Can you say, "Cobra Maneuver?" It's not gonna teach me much about using the rudder, however.
