Flying in Texas, tomorrow!!! - Page 2

Unfortuately i need to BUILD BUILD AND BUILD. I have this years pattern plane to build and a WH 41% to knock out as wel before contest season begins. I fly with Brian and Jason a bit here in SA. Have fun and you guys are right, we need a South Texas Ho Down, i bring the night lights and we have a ball.

Sounds like a plan Shaun. My Pattern schedule and IMAC schedule is almost set, let's look at our calanders and put our minds to it!!

We can find a centrally located field, plaster it all over the FG and git 'er dun'!!!

How about somewhere around New Braunfels for a "Texas Flying Giants Ho-Down". That would be cool to have a weekend of flying and the river. JMO

Not sure of the date, but there will be another huge fly-in in Houston later this year, it is definite not miss event. Last year was awesome.

I live about 30 miles south of Houston, so anything in this area is no problem for me.
I was just thinking of an area more centrally located for evryone.

It will no doubt be the biggest even in Texas this year! I would anticipate Sep-Oct timeframe.

Hey guys, I don't mean to highjack this thread at all... but if you live in south Texas and are even slightly interested in helicopter, you should think about coming to Ron's Fun Fly next weekend (16-18th). This is without a doubt the biggest gathering of the "big boys" in Texas in a very long time!

October, after IMAC shuts down might be a good idea! It would give the IMAC dudes something to do after the season ends? And not make them miss a contest?.

Someone needs to get Biff and Max to come down and share some time with us Rednecks.

Beware of the Shootout in Oct. But... definitely an opportunity to have a FG event!!
