Couldn't fly today

I normally fly on tuesdays and thursdays, so I head out to my shop to grab a plane to load into my truck aand lo and behold I had trouble getting my truck . Oh the joys of Central New York living

I live in Northern Ohio and we got about 2 ft of snow too, I hate it !

The only thing keeping me in Ohio is my job, as soon as I see a crack in the door I'm heading SW..

I live in Indiana and I am SICK of snow, bring on warmer weather

Living in Indiana my self, it is a strange state. South Bend is in the north, North Vernon is in the south, and French Lick isn't anything like it sounds.

On a side note, Here in souther Indiana we haven't has too much snow but we have had the cold and wind. We do get a few days of nice weather. On the way home from the E-Fest Sunday, I stopped in a little park and got a flight in. It was about 40 Deg, sun shine, and no wind.

Today is a different story, about an inch of snow and ice, 15 mph winds and 28 deg. Low of 6 tonight.

I was born in Detroit and lived in Michigan for a while. Then I moved to Florida. All I can say is I cant wait to move back to NC!!!

The south is not all its cracked up to be.

I headed out to the field this morning for a little hookie flying from work. The conditions were just awful. It was almost 70 degrees when I got to the field and the wind was raging at nearly 5 MPH. I had only brought my med lense sunglasses and with the blaring blue sky It was a real squinter. My short sleeve shirt had a hole in the breast pocket so My pack of gum fell out so I had nothing to chew on all morning. I can not believe I survived the whole morning with out coming down with skin cancer. I only got in 7 tanks of fuel before my batteries died so I headed home.

I did some radical skiiing yesterday and riding the lift kept thinking if it wasn't for the white stuff it would be a great day to fly . Then I hear about the great day in California . Where in H--- is that ?????
