Help! ARIZONA HELP??

hello all. i live in ohio at this time. i have a brother who lives in peoria arizona. and i should be moving there this year if everything goes right. ive got a job to go to. and a place to stay. till i get my own. i fly 35% planes. yak and edge at this time. i like to fly 3d. i know some fields do not like this. some of my friends here fly this as well. so i have buddies to fly with. and several of my fields dont mind 3d at all. so im looking to find some fields to fly at out there. and some people i could hook up with. i get along with about any one. and i will help anyone that needs it. if i am able to. so any input and help on flying fields in arizona. around phoenix would be great. i would really like to make some new 3d friends out there. a buddy got me into 3d and it just never stopped. so 3d,ers from az let me know. i love to fly. but its more fun with friends.. thanks for any input. take care.. bill from rainy cold ohio.. not for long. hehhe ps. im also into raceing and riding quads. i like it all. life is short. u just have to play as hard as possible..

First off, you will love AZ. You can fly all year long.
There are several great fields in the Phoenix area as well. Closest to you is the AMPS, though there are plenty of others you will love. 3D is no problem as long as you do it safe and are considerate of others. You can bet there are some cliques here and there, but you will learn quickly what to and not to do around whom.

Quads are everywhere around this place. There must be a dozen in my neighborhood driving about 70 up my street at times... like to kick some of them off the damn things too, but I figure Darwin will take care of some of that for me. Quads are also cool, but not in the neighborhood! There are many places to ride them, including the sand dunes in Yuma on the Mexico border. Fun times.

Come out here, give me a shout and we will fly.

There is also Sun Valley Fliers, You will find some GREAT pilots that fly here like Jason Krause and Chip Hyde comes to my house often to go fly. Also Leseberg and a few others make there way. If its not a big plane we are under the lights with foamies in the evening. Always a good time and some great flying. Look me up when you come here and we can go fly sometime. wow. thanks gys. this is cool. ive been out there four times now. in the past four years or so. ive ridden my quad out there everytime. road with many people. and made friends pretty easy. still stay in touch with some of them. i do agree with the street. i dont mix my atv with the street. this may just help me get off my fence post faster. i got alot to sell. and get ready. its the biggest scarriest move i will have ever made. and we have cliques here too. not too bad. but they are there. and i agree with safety and respecting others. the two fields i fly at mostly. u get alot of respect. we all help one another. and we share the field pretty good. if someone wants to hover and such. and use some area. the other gys just set and watch till ur done. then the rest go at it. comon sense goes a long way. i really appreciate the welcome. i like the idea of being able to fly year round. i just cant believe the sound of that. hehe. im going to keep your names and such. i will definetly get ahold of u fellas. i really want to make some new friends. ive got good ones here. i will miss them plenty.. so it will be nice to have new ones.. take care fellas. and thanks alot. i really really appreciate it. oh the chip hyde thing. i met him here in nepolian ohio. he knows a friend of mine. i talked with him quite a while. was fun watching him fly.. the man was born with radio sticks in his hands..

Here's a bit of trivia. The voice of Jonny Quest (no "h" in Jonny) was Tim Matheson, star of Animal house, and many other films and TV shows (most recently the VP in the final season of the West Wing).
