Saving money on gas:

Gas for car already owned - $100/week worse case if you fill up a truck or SUV

for 52 weeks per year = $5200/year if you fill up every week

Cost of new motorcycle - $16,000+ (plus interest and gas)

Year's to break even and start "saving money on gas" = 3 1/2+

FUN ON YOUR NEW MOTORCYCLE = PRICELESS!
$16,000 is a little more than I am looking to spend. I am looking more in the $5500 range.

I still want all the fun.

Wuzzup Dane! It was taken care of. The club received an AMA frequency scanner recently, which is pretty cool by the way, and it has been in operation for a few weeks and not a blip has appeared. That scanner not only monitors every channel for problems, but when a transmitter is on it can tell you how many channels it is using, how far out of tune it is and it's signal strength, among other things.
