Last year, we had a great time with the flying happening in the parking lot Friday night (see past pics starting here), flying at Crystal Coast RC's nice field (see our pics here), and , of course, we can't forget the RDRC Travelling Circus "act" that was documented here!

Oh, and other strange things happened like Dustin's trick in the photo below!

It was a great adventure, for sure, and I know that several guys are headed back this weekend. We'll post the official Circus meeting plans soon.

FYI - I just reserved three rooms for Friday night in Havelock for the CCRC event (me, Benson, and Dave Hockaday). The hotel is about 15-20 minutes from the field and is $79/night. Here's the info for anyone else who'd like to join us:

We were thinking about leaving Raleigh after lunch on Friday, which should put us at the beach in the late afternoon. Then we can mess around at the flying field a bit, go eat some seafood, etc. And then it's a full day of flying on Saturday!
