Majic
They tell me,,,,,,,he was entering the now famous "Tootsie Roll Slip n Slide" at a verrrrrrrry low altitude. THats where ya slip the plane in low and slow, them walk it into a TR. From what I understand, left wing got into an argument with the ground just before pulling up. Amazingly, the plane didnt receive as much damage as you would thing. It WILL fly again.
Hey Josh, ya want some training wheels for those wing tip?

I'd like to extend an invite to you NC huckers to pay us a visit at Mid-Virginia Radio Control Club:

http://midvarc.com/

We've got two fields, both only minutes off of I-95. Wagner field in on the south edge of Petersburg. Structures for shade, stands and a fairly compact arrangement. The downside is the surrounding swamp.

Fort Lee Airport is a few miles north and is the "big sky" for the giants.

You may fly at Wagner as guests, but Fort Lee will require that you be members of our club. No problem there, however, we routinely grant one-day memberships for special events.

Not 'til Fall, tentatively planned for mid-November. It WILL be at Ft. Lee. I'll make sure and let you guys know exactly when. Cross-pollenization with nearby clubs is a GOOD thing!
