FWIW, when you ADD cells, you will need to go DOWN in prop size to keep the amps the same. If you want to turn the same size prop without over-amping the system, you will need to go to a lower Kv rated motor.

I have the Eagletree eLogger (love it!) and also have the little LCD display for it. I've used it while "getting acquainted" with a new setup, since I can see the instantaneous current and power displayed, as well as the peak current and minimum voltage during a flight. Cheap insurance.
yup got one..that is how I know what happened 2000 watts, 94.3 Amps from a 70 Amp controller...opps

Gonna be a busy weekend! Some are going to the Heli gig in Va, some to the flyin to the west with Nelson Hole, and some to the RR flyin with the 95th. RDRC is speading the love :-)

By the way, for those who have asked and never been (self included)... the 95th's field is just off I-95, south of RR, exit #176. Take this exit (hwy 46), go 1/2 mile west, turn down a gravel road next to Redwine's Truck service. You can actually see it from I-95. This is a "Fly Anything" fly-in with the 95th Squadron.

Looks like so far Brandon, Mike, Blair, Bryan, and myself are heading up to the 95th flyin. Any others interested in running with us to the 95th's fly-in? It is a "fly anything" event. Some of us will be leaving Zebulon around 8:30am, and anyone is welcome to ride or run with us.

Dave

Had a Z club meeting last night (yes, I have other hobbies too...) and have been in meetings all day... I'll head over in a few minutes, may or may not get her back together tonight... May even borrow a 26 from Dave and try it out, the 43 may turn out to be too much after all.

If I do get it together and can make it to Bob Evans at 6:00, I'll see you guys on the western leg, if I don't, or can't get our of bed, I'll pack up the smaller stuff and head with the northern crew...

Decisions, decicions, good problem to have !

Jason
