Just take the firewall that's on the plane off and use the same type and thickness as that. As far as finding the mtor position goes, carefully position the airplane vertically, set the motor against the firewall, mount the cowl and spinner and then align the spinner (with 1/8" or more gap) with the cowl nose ring. Then mark and drill the motor mount holes.

Thanks guys.... I'll get right to work now.... Oh and I hope ou don't mind if I change the color scheme on the extra? Don't really like the pink and purple to much..... Going back with black and yellow....Just going to give it a face lift! you'll love it!
