yes monocoat all the way.... And the cawl was painted with fuel proof gloss black High heat spray paint from autozone for $4.50.... And I get my monocoat from east-rc $12.99... one 1/2 rolls did the entire fus....

I have to say that when I took this plane apart, I was not at all expecting it to be in such good shape...... Mr. Robert Vess took really good care of this baby!!!!!Just a few loose struts in the frame but other than that the wood was as good as it could be to be as old as it is!!!!!I'm going to bring her out to RDRC As soon as she is ready... If the guys will have me...

Eddie,

It looks good. The only thing I'll caution you on is that black Monokote tends to wrinkle easy in the sun. Be ready to shrink it every weekend to keep it looking like it does now.
