MR. Lewis Sir:
If you have any room left in the trailer please bring the YAk cowl with you.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

Guys, you won't beleive this one!

A friend of mine, Dave VonLinsowe, who is a modeler and full-scale pilot/builder, sent me some pics of an astonishing "home built" that someone is building. No, it's not a model. It's a single-place, man carrying airplane! And I know you recognize it as a B-17. This is so cool! You can see the runnder pedals, control yoke, and throttle quadrant in the cockpit. Apparently, he's going to use for 80 hp Hirth engines.

Is this amazing or what? The workmanship looks like any other homebuilt like Mark Glazer's RV-8. Some people sure have a bunch of time, skill, imagination, and "kahoneys"!

I'll keep you posted as Dave sends me more info and pics.

I just checked the avaition weather for tomorrow and it shows that the rain will be gone, the temps will be about 70, and the wind will peak around 10 mph.

It should be a fun and busy day at the RDRC Spring Fly-In!
