A few times. My first attempt at monokote was probably around 1971. Chrome monokote ('cause it looked so cool to a 12 year old kid) using my mom's household iron, trying to cover a Goldberg Lil Jumpin Bean. The iron was as big as the plane. Disastrous results! I learned a few things from that. Don't EVER use chrome monokote, it shows every flaw. Don't use a household iron. And (big drum roll) remember to peel off the clear backing, it severly inhibits the adhesion of the monokote to the underlying structure.

Ok, guys, quit laughing. How many times have YOU forgotten to remove the backing???

We're JUST going to fly formation......right, Lewis!

Yeah, Dave. I'll be sure to maintain a safe operational gap with you (and mostly everyone else).

Please define what a "SAFE" operational gap is? From the way you and Larry fly those T-28's, safe is who can avoid a mid-air crash

That's great, Mark!

And I just spoke with Chris Hockaday who claims he's going to join us, too. We're all going to hold you to that, Chris! We haven't seen any Hockaday's in quite a while.
