Power should not be a problem, we would be surrounded by buildings, right next to a Starbucks. Simulators are an area where I have some concern though, a downside of an outdoor event. We have to consider weather, visibility if there is bright sunlight, etc.... We have discussed the possibility of pavillions / tents and using an empty store front.

<sigh> Canopies will cover the sun and 90% of people attending will have one or more

Power should be available since they have live music being played in the area.

Guys,

In case you haven't seen it, look at the "front page" article on the home page. The circus got a little coverage at Henderson this past Saturday!

Wow, I make my first trip with the "Flying Circus" and make the Front page of FG. Now what can be better than that?

The shot with the t-28's was obviously photo-shopped. Robert and Larry's planes are too pristine.

(The lack of duct tape and repaired Frankenstein cracks on the fuselages tipped me off).

Dave dave dave,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
You KNOW the Circus aint pass'n up on a Goldsboro trip! Even if John Gurley wont support US, we STILL support HIS club! We cant neglect the other members of such a great club just because they have one bad egg!

So the question isnt WILL we be going,,,but WHERE and WHEN will be meeting for breakfast?
We usually meet at the Zebulon McD's for this trip, but we're open for thoughts.

Good thing he wasnt using a zoom lens! If he had been, you would have seen plenty of cracks and glue joints!
Just for the record Joe, I have a NIB T-28 in my shop now. So I'll have a nice'n purty one for the PA trip. That brings the Lewis household inventory of T-28s to 4! Two new ones, and two beat all to &%$%^#%^#!!! Im just glad they dont require turning on a fuel valve before flight!
