Default Fandino's Curse

Well guy's I definatly am cursed. Third midair in as many years and every time in competition with only one other plane in the air. This time it happened at the nats in my second round and disabled my trusty bird for the rest of the contest. A big Thank you goes out to Igor Spector from N.Y. who allowed me to fly his godfrey extra for the rest of the contest. I ended up in forth but i feel it would have been a different story had my airplane survived. The good news was i was able to land and save the garbage can scow(my plane). The other plane did not fair very well, lets just say it disintegraded...RIP

one more reason to fly Carden ........ tough

Tony,

sorry to hear about your loss. I almost fell over when I read that in the online articles on the AMA website. You truly are cursed, reminde me not to park my plane next to yours at any of the contests. Sorry for your loss and the other pilots loss. Hope you are back up and flying soon. Give me a shout sometime, I am moving to Lauderdale the second week of August, so I may have to come giv eyou a hard tmie every now and again, since I will be so much closer.

Mike

Tony.... Since I have a "Direct Connection" I decided to use it for you. I actually was saving it for Jimmy Ritch but I can split it between both of you. Here is the sacrifice..... just for you!!!!
