Default Looking for some guy's to fly with Buder Park, Missouri..

Looking for some decent flying partners. I fly at the Saints in Mo. and Buder Park. I can fly anytime during the week. Weekends hardly ever. Give me a PM if you can make it out to one of the sites. 66stang

this might not work out for you but all of us that fly the giants, about 10 of us, will be at buder on sat and sun this weekend, more or less boycotting our previous club's fly-in which basically eliminated giant gas planes at thier field,

I'll be out there this weekend...I fly at Buder regularly. Also gonna fly tomorrow evening weather permitting. Send a PM when you are looking to go fly on a weeknight as I live about 10 minutes from Buder.

Mark,
I'll call you in the morning if I can make it out. I had already asked Ron Babish to fly at buder. But he backs out often. So if he's not flying I will come out to rivercity. Thanks for the invite.

I will be out at buder, possibibly tonight, if I don't have to run an errand. I know I will be out at buder saturday, I will have my 2.3 meter extra, and my 3.3 meter Yak. I don't see how any giant scale plane people will be attending the SLRC fly-in - people form out of town or in town. I don't see how any giant scale engine can honestly pass a 95 db static test. I know my 27 % extra won't, its louder than my YAK, and the YAK won't pass. I really wonder how honestly SLRC will enforce the 95db rule durring a fly in, for example if a guy drives 3 or 4 hours to attend with a 40% plane, are they really goning to test him and say he can't fly, and what if he gets pissed, and says he wants one of turbin jets tested, and they will have to tell him that jets are exempt. It could make for an ugly sceen, and SLRC could get some bad rep. If for some reason SLRC has a good turn out of large scale planes, I hope they have the good sense to over look the 95 db rule durring the fly - in, if you don't test, you don't fail. I would make sure the meter was sent in for calibration durring the event.

I think Sunday the weather is going to turn bad, so satruday is my pic for flying this week end
