Default Some Days You Just Shouldn't Fly

Just listen to Mother Nature. Sometimes her message is subtle, and sometimes she gives you a "Dope Slap" in the back of the head.
One of my students showed up at the field today and this is what happened:
1. He almost t-boned a delivery van on the way to the field
2. He forgot his TX and had to drive home to get it
3. After firing up his engine, I asked him to shut it down because of a loose glow plug
4. He tightened his glow plug. Still leaking
5. No washer on the plug. He had to bum one.
6. I let him taxi with the buddy box and he flipped the plane over while going to the flight line. (I have no idea how)
7. Back to the startup stand...Ziiiiiing! Off came the Prop, Spinner and all.

I handed him his TX and Buddy box and told him he'd better go home and do the following:
a. Throw salt over his shoulder
b. Turn around three times
c. Say 50 "Hail Maries"
d. Bury a mason jar of stump water in his back yard
e. Throw the bones
f. Kill a chicken
g. Try again tomorrow

He Agreed.

I live by the 3 strikes rule. Once I ht that 3rd strike, I pack it up and go have a beer.
