its been a while - i found them on google one day - google red smoke fluid in red arrows!!

yes smoke oil on the comp are for sure better and easier to clean.

Yes smoke is messy, but is it worth it? The answer is YES! As long as clean your plane good each time you use smoke, you wont have any problems.

I have used 2 smoke pumps, they were both crap and didn't last long, often lost prime in snap etc. then went to crank case pressure with check valve, it has never failed. last plane had around 80 litres of summer spray oil through it, and only retired it to put motor in composite arf plane

Has anyone tried using smoke flares set up on some sort of bracket fitted to the underside of the fuse or even the wing tips?? I know that you won't have the option of switching it on and off but it will still create the same effect??

they are illegal in australia, you can't have any pyrotechnic device attached to R/C aircraft, it is also illegal to launch rockets etc from R/C aircraft

It's also illegal to do 120 km/h down the Freeway in WA but everyones seems to do it. LOL
