Hi Craig

Don't worry about the second Rx battery pack, use 1 decent sized (1900 - 2800mah) Li-Ion or LiPo + regulator. Also, consider a decent digital for the throttle, thos mini mg servos don't seem to stand up to the vibration level in gassers and the digital will give you a more reliable idle. You also don't need the whip aerial, I recall there is a tube installed for the aerial and that worked fine.

It's easy to get seduced into getting all the cool gear you see in the 35-40% planes, I did when I got my PA Edge, and it came in heavy (7.2Kg) and didn't fly as well as expected. I stripped the extra battery & the smart fly power expander and turbo reg and got it under 7Kg, and it flew a lot better. I sold the plane when I bought my comp arf 2.6m extra, but every time I see it fly at the club kinda wish I had kept it!

HTH

Vince.
