The build is goin slow but I'm getting there.

Ordered a JXF 20x10 prop from PA and should have that this week and the servos should all be in this week as well.

Hey Congrats man!!

Nice arent they.

I am at the stage of installing the dual elevator servos and will then move on to the pull pull for the rudder. Have finished the throttle linkage using Ny Rod and need to adjust the servo throw as I am at full throttle with the stick half way.

I am lucky as I have a mate who is going to guide me through the installation of the pull pull. I think I will be crossing the wires over as to keep the slot holes in the fuse to a minimum.

Balancing and CG will come towards the end as the battery packs should go in very last. There is a thread on another forum on this plane as well

Have fun.

Planing to maiden towards the end of this month sometime. Maybe at Coolum

Hey Royster, how are you going to fit the dual elevator servos are you going to modify the fuse?

Nope. Too easy just use Futaba S9550 Digital Servos.

They are low profile and fit this plane as if they were made for it. No cutting or re-sizing. Just cut yer covering and pop 'em in plus they are high torque and super smooth.

I used 2 x 24" silicon twisted cable (from Desert Aircraft) and used heat shrink on the joiners and fed the cables up through the fuse to the RX.

Now, I just have to work out how to configure my DX7 for dual elevators. I know its mix no.5 or no.6 but getting both to work is the challenge.

Use a JR MatchBox for dual elevators it make it a lot better to match each servo's output for better efficiency.
