Exclamation Coolum Field report, flooded ??

Anyone from Suncoast Flyers club able to give a report on if the field at Coolum is flyable yet?

Was at Coolum last week end and you couldnt even drive down the road past the Motocross club for the lake that had formed from all the storms and rain over the last 2 weeks.

The electric fly-in that was to on that week-end got cancelled and has now been set (tentative) for the 7th of Oct.

Hi Royster - The pits area is slushy under foot - the airstrip is O K to use - the outfield area is too wet to mow and the grass is getting a bit long. Better charge those batteries. David.
