Now I know why I buy overseas. I cant seem to find anyone in Brisbane who stocks a metal 3" spinner! Even Precsion Aerobatics are are out of stock! I can get one from the US but will have to wait a few weeks and need it before then. Howie at DA has em but they are for DA engines and not for my SPE40 Can anyone help? |

3" isn't too big... Have no clue about Hobby shops there... but doesn't anyone carry a 3" Tru Turn?

Dont know? I fact I didnt even bother to compare as I figured it was for a DA so no way was it going to fit. I might take up the prop bolt to DA and see if it comes close ![]() Otherwise I may just have to get on the forums of owners of the SPE40 and see what they use. Found a 3" spinner in NSW but I think it will need some major moding | ||||||||||||||||||

How does your prop bolt on. 6 bolts? or 1 bolt in the centre? If it is 6 bolts than any tru turn should fit. if it is a single bolt than you would need an adaptor. Otherwise a PA carbon one would fit with no adaptor. Or any spinner that does not use a centre bolt. The ones with the little screws arround the back plate

All solved guys! I just bought 3" True Turn from Desert Aircraft and just have to drill two additional holes on the back plate and I'm done! ![]() Just need to find someone with a drill press. Mmmm those DA engines sure look nice |
