Howie, that is a shame about the Turbo Raven that would have been impressive to watch fly, the time he had it at Wangaratta I couldn't make it so I misse out.
I did see Steve's Eurofighter fly at Temora but I think he had the JetCat P160 in it at the time.
Those Eurofighters fly well also the slow flight is really good with that model, could imagine that the P200 JetCat would be balistic in that Jet.

What I would like to see is a CompArf Mig29 fly that is a really nice jet. Do you know if anyone in Austrailia has purchased a ComArf Mig29 jet?
I really love those turbine Jet Models.

i went to temora to watch the jets a couple of years ago. while it was something different and the money sitting around was impressive, they just didn't do it for me.
something about just going back and forth flatout. it got boring.

We go to the Temora R/C Jet meet every year.
Yeah I know what you mean jets go back and forth but that is what jets do, but you have to take them for what they are. The sound of those Turbines, the smell it is cool. Jets facinate me and always have.

I like to get involved with all types of R/C flying or I would even get bored with the IMAC thing as well.

Have jut bought an electric TRex Heli, which is nearly finished and I'm looking forward to flying it soon. Have been giving the sim a real work out flying the Heli's.
If it all works out I will buying an Xcell Spectra G which is a petrol helicopter running a Zenoah G23, just want to learn with a small electric and go the bigger ones later.

Thought about getting a Raptor 50 but the Nitro fuel thing turned me off. After flying petrol planes I just cant get myself to go and run a Nitro aircraft again.

Lately I have been getting into flying small electric aircraft and having fun doing so.

I know what you mean benny. These guys also have an event at werro, they are pretty full on when it comes to the rules and what manuevers you can do, and they don't seem as keen to help out the new comers to scale as the IMAC guys are. I've found the best FSAA scale event to go to is the sydney scale rally. It's just a fun fly with scale planes it's alot more relaxed..
