Well , after my short lived joy of having a new toll way to get me from
home to the flying field I have been informed that the 2.5 billion is set
to be debited from my account . I'm sure the bloke who runs East link
is a DA flyer . Any way as it turns out if I drive a private vehical and not
commercial van the cost is MUCH lower .

So here goes nothing , how do you get a 3.0 Yak into the old bomb shopping
trolly Commodore . In the end all you do is take the stabbs off , line up
the rudder with dead centre and come in from a long run up .

Bingo , like a bum in a bucket . I just hope I have room for all the other
bits . Like wings , stabs , tool box ,fuel , wing tube and also the driver .

Here's the pix .

Done well Stu.
Don't do the bank account debit.
Do the credit card thing.
Should nearly get 3 or 4 new 3mt models with the points a spend like that would generate.

Hey Stu it might be expensive but it will only take one incident of car hanger damage to outway the cost you could have spent..........food for thought......Recommend a trailer if not your van

Laziness at its best.
Be ok for a big Yak to hide ring gear.
I think TD posted something similar for 3W a while back

Had a BIG TRAILER back in my kart racing days and I hated the thing .
Given the option a van is always going to be the better choice . I hear
the car/trailer is also going to be treated the same as a commercial vehical.

I know what you mean about the hanger rash I suppose its the risk I have
to take . Looks like it will only be a few trips down there anyway , this lovely
new road is too close to the field . I am betting the cops wouldnt appreciate
a nice big roller being flown over six lanes of traffic .

Stu

Don't forget to leave room for all the shoe-horns you will need at the field to get the thing back in again
I thought trailers were free on the South Eastern - not so on Eastlink then?
