Awards Showcase
Official FG Bad Ass!: Hand selected award for being a BAD-ASS member, and an awesome dude in general. - Issue reason: Feral gets this award for being the first person that we know of who tatted a model airplane manufacturer to his ankle. Now that's bad-ass dedication to a kick-ass hobby. Nice job dude!

Careful Feral, exacto knives (as you call them) are much sharper than a mastercard.

Hi Chaps, went out today for my first fly in a month, there was heaps of those pesky little glow fuel burning mozzies but there was a 1/3 scale Steerman that was worth the trip. Probably the best built and detailed model I have seen with the sweetest sounding Moki radial.

I will put up a short vid, the picture is rubbish as I took it with me still camera but the sound is good.

ooooops, selected the same pic twice

Hi Cookie - Been waiting to see what you think of your Wild Hare Extra. ChrisB was flying a Moki powered biplane at Tin Can Bay and the sound was fabulous. Chris Venter, from Suncoast Model Flyers, is building a large biplane and fitting a 400cc Moki in it - going to be sensational. Cheers. . .

Had a good day here.
Re-maidened my 2.3 with new control horns, re furbished hinges, Booma batts & 1060 pipe.
Picked up 450 rpm.
Started re-trimming it in the 8 flights i had.
Made a huge difference to the uplines. Need to get the CG forward again as the pipe
and associated changes moved it back a bit.
New spinner should take care of that to a point.

All in all i'm a happy boy.
