Anyone got any ideas for tinting canopies other than the VHT 171.

Tinted the canopy of me 3m 260 yesterday, came out with all these blister looking marks.

Cleaned it out and purchased another tin of VHT, same result and found the canopy has marks in it that you can't see when it's clear, appears to be from the molding process.

Cleaned out again and recoated, same result, now it is out the front waiting for the rubbish man in the morning. Can't understand why one tints well then the next no good, why don't they tint them in the friggin factory. I have done 4 that worked, one I had to wash out after buying the wrong spray, recoated well.
Now it will cost more to get one shipped than the canopy is worth and wonder if the same thing will happen if I spray tint it again.

Consider it sold Macca, I will give you a call.

Thanks Macca, might be a small but rewarding business opportunity there....

Looking forward to it arriving and not having to tint it, yeh.

Cheers.

Does anyone have a piccie or template underside of fuse cooling slots for a compy.

Really windy (crosswind) & squally here this morning & by the end of my 2nd sequence, I couldn't hold line or knife edge at all. Thinking i don't have enough ventilation now there is a pipe in there.
