Has anyone bought one of the Hobbycity foamies yet? Thinking of getting one, just want to know what they are like. Got rid of three of my electric models today, and going to get one good one

Hi Luke - Should have a Hobbycity Katana here this week so will take it to Toowoomba with me so you can have a gink at it. Wasn't sure which battery pack to order for it but will order a couple as soon as it arrives. Good to see you flying in the IMAC Comp. David.

Thanks guys , the tray mount is aircraft 12 ply, had to make it due to the gap is ment for the 4 servo tray, paint job is me just getting bored. camera flash doesn't give off the true colours but its pretty close to the out side. As i said its far from finished, will post some pics when i have done the final install and wiring.

Thanks Bronty for dropping in today and giving me a hand to do a rough C of G so i could work out a battery mounting system. To our surprise its very nose heavy at standard. Long nose moment, nice!

Its good to see its got that new induction block allowing it to run consistent while rich, and those things love fuel, they loose there excess power when you take it away being fussy..
Hey TD, not sure what the needle setting are meant to be and I haven't even seen any green run in card. I am taking it the Ernies to bolt it to his engine stand to run it in and pump 5 litres of fuel through it.

Are you going to bring that Godzilla down to Monarto on the 4-5 Oct for the SA champs?
