Got my 30A Turnigy speedie and program card for my electric glider today. Nice bit of gear, program card makes programing so much easier. No more listening for beeps and moving the throttle stick around.

Well I finally got the H9 260 35% test flown today and what a perfect day for it here in SA. Ernie ventured out to the RAAF base to do the certification for me, so firstly a big thanks to Ernie for taking some time out for me.
The 260 flew absolutley awesome and this is one locked in plane, the combo turned out perfect with the 3W106CS and at this early stage she's got a bucket load of vertical performance. I can't get over how nice and stable she flys compared to my 30% 260. The CG needs adjusting slightly as she seems a tad tail heavy and it also requires I little more right thrust. This is the first time I have flown with a 3 blade prop and the vertical down line speed seemed alot more constant with this prop, very nice. I can't wait till the next comp now, Bring on Monarto. Its a big thumbs up from me

Well after some dramas with a trailer, and not being able to take it, my car now has my Cap in it, with the wing in the front seat, ready for my trip to Toowoomba. Leaving tomorrow after work, noah and I are ready for the trip ahead.

Good stuff Simon, always good to hear test flights go well

Hope the good fortune carries on sunday as i hope to get the QQ yak test flown after work. One more late night to go. engine runs c/out this arvo, Niiooce no rattles, chucked it on the scales , around the 19-19.5 kg mark, ( my scales are crap) roughly 41 ish pound give or take.
Back to the shed to pull it all apart, give it a going over, iron and charge up.
On that note, has any one with the power box royal had false charge feed back when the packs are still connected to the box?

A couple of pics , (better put some of the pit crew in for putting up with me being in the shed 24/7 lately) hope to give flight report sun night.
Thanks heaps to Mike @ Model flight and Howie/Richo @ Desert Aircraft Australia for the support/help. The QQ kits are from The Hobby Man.
