Talbs,
How do you think the 150 will pull it along?
Cheers

Hope the good fortune carries on sunday as i hope to get the QQ yak test flown after work. One more late night to go. engine runs c/out this arvo, Niiooce no rattles, chucked it on the scales , around the 19-19.5 kg mark, ( my scales are crap) roughly 41 ish pound give or take.
Back to the shed to pull it all apart, give it a going over, iron and charge up.
On that note, has any one with the power box royal had false charge feed back when the packs are still connected to the box?

A couple of pics , (better put some of the pit crew in for putting up with me being in the shed 24/7 lately) hope to give flight report sun night.
Thanks heaps to Mike @ Model flight and Howie/Richo @ Desert Aircraft Australia for the support/help.
Talbs

Yeeeeaaaah, in line with your standard quality, looks fantastic Talbs... And great to see the supportive pit-crew get a gurnsey in the FG-GD media as well! (Backyard's looking darn neat 2!) :-) Keenly waiting to see the pics after successful initials tomorrow arvo...

Sure there'll be minimum rust on your thumbs mate!

Yep i think Benson and Rusty are from the same patch, very spoiled, sleeps like that and tries to take the whole couch or bed sprawled out like a drunk.

Nakia, the 150 should do fine as long as it is aloud to rev on the big sequences. Its only in there until the 170 gets here then it will be going into the 3m extra 330 with smoke etc.
I'll hope to be able to tell ya tomorrow night, but like most engs , ya need to get 50 to 100 flights/liters through them b4 the power starts showing true form.

Looking good Talbs, the plane aint bad either....

Stickers-N-Things came through again ah, he would be loving you, the stickers work well with the scheme though.

Wish I could come up for the maiden tomorrow, night shift fixes that though. I will watch for the report tomorrow night.

Are you off Wednesday, the crazy wabbit would like to have a fly.

How did the engine run go today Pundi, heard you went out and gave Mike's plane a sound thrashing....Got yourself some new wing as well.

I see Mike hanging out in the background, I re did that tank mount after you left,, was not happy with the finish.
