Well Guys after a 2 week build it is finally finished my new super extra.. DA-150 with MTW pipes, 8911 JR servos everywhere, Powerbox Royal, 2 x 1221 JR 2.4 receivers, JR 12x..
Thanks to DA Australia (Ian and Richo), O'reilly's Model Products and JR Australia for the sponsorship help with the servos and Radio, and of course my dad.. Without him i couldn't have done it.. ( and of course my new little helper that turned up just before the test flight)..
It flew awesome and the MTW pipes seem to have heaps of power, slowly getting it all sorted with the radio setup.. This is going to be the plane i take to Tucson, so need to get alot of flying over the next week..
Thanks

The new plane is a 120inch QQ Yak 54. I am sure I mentioned it a few pages back. Anyway it will be my new IMAC model, will be interesting to see how it stacks up in comparison to the super extra.

All fixed, won't pop out again. I do this to all I fit, my first one made a mess of the top of the fuzz first flight without it.

Okay thanks heaps Cookie! I will do that this week.

Nice new toys Benny and Troy.I nearly put those pipes in this yak, butt figured i hope not to need them when the 170 gets here, have heard they are very smooth.
Benny get ya yak out of the box and get building, i think ya going to like it.

Got out after work just b4 dark and just after the rain.
A bit windy for most of the trimming checks but all seems very close. Got three flights in, enough to be very happy. Even with a 30x12 2 blader down line are nice and slow, the new 150 on K&s rear exit cans pull it around fine , its only going to get better . Snaps keep very straight even when buried right in.
Over all a very solid flying ship that looks great in the sky. K/e has little to no coupling.
Will be trying to get out as much as i can this week to get the JR 12 X dialed in and play with some tail weights. At the moment the C of G is about 1" infront of QQ fwd C of G.
The power Box Royal showed 100% on both RXs and no rx switching , with max of 6.5 amp draw off both packs. All looks good!
Oh yeh i forgot to thank the other pit crew who dropped every thing to come around home and help me balance and weigh the beast
