Yes we are and noise control as well. If you hold a comp up your way I will be there and will have room to bring another flyer with me. I've spoken to a few who hope to make the trip up. Should be good. Are you hoping to fly at the Queensland Challenge in July?
Cheers,
David

Yes Rusty, we fly the airspace control score, and 2009, after 1 year of awareness, will see the noise score being entered into the score program as well.

We are penciled in for june 09. Still have to get club approval, it shouldn't be a problem so keep an eye on the ASAA website.

Would be great if a few from SE QLD could make the trip.

I'd like to fly in the DA challenge but it depends on how many comps I can get to in the early part of 09. I'm sure they will have entry conditions. Even if I don't fly I will be there to watch and help out if needed.

The best suggesetion I have is read the rules, and disregard the section on ground testing. Then when you have questions, let me know and I'll ring you and clarify them

Thanks mick, I saw the ground testing bit and skipped past it, didn't see the in flight part after it. Pretty straight forward.

One question though, Is it the CD's decision if a competitor is to be disqualified for receiving 2x too noisey score's?

A "Too noisey" by both judges would be sufficient, however, never lose sight of the fact, that host club officials/CD always has the right to ground an aircraft to preserve the right to continue operations at that venue
