Very MAAA legal vid, lucky there was someone elses VH number on the plane being second hand. Got to get that one off him if hes still got it...

Yup its all about the rythm! Rolling direction is really just personal preference, which ever direction you feel more comfortable with.

TD,
Thats what i have been realy concentrating on, the sequences. i've been getting 10 sequence flights a weekend on averge and on the last flight i tend just have a bit of a muck around with 3D. I have it setup as close to perfect as possible for sequence flying at the moment but its still quite stable in 3D.

Quote from 3W. (Im more comfortable spinning due to that plane, im aileron dead most of the time being busy with the back end.)

Hey I agree Tony, I can hold my yak in the hover much better while its torquing, I get more outta shape once I start trying to fool with the ailerons at the same time.

Glad you said that because I must be nuts. I much prefer to roll right than left. Granted I dont have a whole lotta torque like you guys though. I can roll left though, just not as well

Quote from 3W: Not all pattern flying was boring for me. Unfortunately boring old discipline is one of the best ways to learn how to fly properly, but some try to hide behind discipline as an excuse. Being an all rounder that’s all I want.

RIP Torque Roll Whore in photo below, died about this time 2003 just flying strait and level (Stalled it). You served me well not as a pattern model but as the best Torque trainer/swimming pool dunker ive ever had.

Your probably an exception to the rule TD and I must say that pattern would improve your flying so does IMAC.
Like you mentioned being an all rounder is a good thing I totally agree. Most pattern guys would hate the fact that you where hucking that pattern in the swimming pool or anywhere for that matter.

LOL yer never really went down well with some egos (expense vs risk excuse), but the locals at the fields we visited loved it. Its funny in IMAC comps its the norm to give the locals a show for giving up the field for a weekend and the model cost 3 times more than pattern LOL.

As for touque rolls, I feel the same. My 2.6 really (REALLY) locks into a touque roll. It requires so little input in the tourqueroll its not funny!

Yep the best ones are when you do hardly nothing. Thats the hard part learning not to over compensate for something thats already in balance.

man Im the opposite, I cant torque roll to save myself but am very comfotable just holding a steady hover.

Chrisbchips: If i keep seeing video of your flying(which cuts me right up) as the secretary of ASAA i will be forced to pass a rule that bans you from flying at any IMAC event until you are about 30 with 2 kids and a mortgage. LOL. On a more serious note keep up the good work you are the future of IMAC in this country
