Why pay $250 !!! iff you can buy them of the shelf

Hi Stu,

The vents from Macka are all pre curved to suit the Yak fuse. I'm sure you can curve the 3w chaps, but the process is labour intensive. Macka has made up buck's for the curving process, and also reshapes each louver by hand. You need to heat the vents to soften them before shaping. The louvers go out of shape when you bend the vent. I watched him do mine, and I was pretty happy that I wasn't doing it.

The 3w vents look good and excellent value, if you are keen enough to do the labour intesive part yourself. Of cource if your fuse is flat you wouldn't have to do anything to them.

Cheers,

Richo

Guys,

There seems to be some sand bagging going here. I found a nice video of Matts Edge on the site and all I can hear is coooing dang pidgeons.

Now MadMax has asked if there is someone on this thread who can kindly explain whats the go.

Matt, great to talk with you yesterday on the Skype mate. Makes the site a whole lot more when you can actually get on line and have a gas bag to someone that far away.

OK fill us in guys, pidgeons and coooing; sounds like theres a story were all missing.

If you look closer at matts plane you will see an eagle airbrushed on the side and wings. us local boys call it the pigeon for a joke and when i did the video editing under some dicussion with two other friends Towball and 3dubya we decided to put towball cooing like a pigeon on the movie.

It is all a joke and in good fun and Matt takes it all in his stride

Flyboy,

I had seen the photos of Matts plane and now I see the link. I spent 8 great years in OZ before going to PNG and now Chile. This is where I'll be parking up for sure.

I fully understand the humour in what you dudes got up to now.

Yeah it was great to actually talk to ya Kiwi. I do cop a fair bit of s#$t from the boys over the eagle paint work but I can handle it. What goes around comes around, they better hope they dont get beaten by the "pigeon". There is already one of them that keeps jumping up a class everytime I step up. I think Ive got him runnin scared.
