Carn rick you forgot one important bit of info on the 9153, its friggen huge, 1\4 scale huge, and ~28% heaver than the TG. These are mine on my desk look at the size difference lol. U would feel ok with TGs on all surfaces for they are in a standard case, the 9153 you would only use it on the rudder. I used the complicated handstall method and the TG felt the same if not alot stronger to me. Deal of the century 28% more servo for you, if you got a 5955TG think you said you tested it, ill swap it for my new 9153 (which i bought by mistake thinking it was standard size before i believed the power specs of the TG).

Something like this would be handy as a tester 1:1 on the head of servo. http://www.imada.com/digital_screwdriver_dsd-4.shtml

5955
Weight: 2.18oz (60 grams)
Length: 1.6" (40mm)
Width: .8" (20mm)
Height: 1.4" (37mm)
6V (24 kg-cm).15 sec/60°

9153
Weight: 3 oz (85g)
Length: 1.91" (48.6mm)
Width: 0.99" (25.2mm)
Height: 1.56" (39.7mm)
6V (15 kg-cm).15 sec/60°

Be fair and use a single servo, a 1 cm servo arm and then see how much force is required (weight or a scale of some kind) to stall the servo. Who really know's how much force you really applied to your dual servo setup by simply grabbing the rudder and pulling.
Think the simple way to explain peoples confusion is most use a force gauge tester setup http://www.imada.com/force_gauge.shtml with levers (servo horns) to convert torque into force to do a torque testers job at 1:1 http://www.imada.com/torque.shtml.

Remember its torque ratings on the box not force ratings for force ratings are dictated by lever length as the converter which is an inconsistent variable which is not worth advertising due to inconsistancy as far as I understand it.

Guys, did you know that we have a new Australian Champion in our brotherhood? Big Blue Couch took home the gold at the APA Championships in Mildura on the weekend. I know y'all don't care for lawn darts too much, but Tunksey did the job on the day and deserves his moment in the spotlight. I'm pretty sure he's gonna have the trophy stitched into the couch as a reminder of where all the hard work was put in... Congratulations mate, and go the Ninja snaps!
