Log onto scale aero site and enter for it best way to get the ball rolling, Wyalong is a good comp, went to it last year, PS take your fly spray or buy a heap of that Piss-Off in a can..

Which yak are you building? I was hoping my QQ yak would turn up before the weekend but the freight company screwed up and it hasn't even been picked up yet (in adelaide). Will spend tomorrow building a flatout foamie as we have an indoor session tomorrow night.

Whats the deal with scale aeros and the NATs. Never been to the nats before, what schedules are running next years or this years (same structure as usual 4 knowns 1 unknown). Hope a decent amout of us show for it and fly the flag for the ASAA infront of the VMAA, MAAA. If we get 40+ at it some eyes will open.. http://www.scaleaeros.com.au/Default...ail&EventID=81

I'd like to but I will have my folks visiting from overseas during that time, don't think they'd be too impressed if I took off for a few days when they are only here for 10 days. That and the wife already veto'd it

Show em the desert fields of Albury for a few days, and the famous Hume hwy motels, where an 18-26 wheeler at 5am is your alarm clock..

I would, but they've been there several times before, I got married there and used to live there for a few years. I don't think there's any tourist thing they haven't seen already

And I know what mean about the alarm clock, I didn't get much sleep during the albury comp!

I am not prone to expressing a personal opinion in a public forum
but for this i will make an exception .

Are the MAAA nuts , why would you have a comp on during the
Christmas / new years brake . Its obvious that we ALL have
families in one form or another and this is the time when we need
to spend time with them and not at a comp .

I dont know if I am being a bit to precious but this is just about
the single most stupid idea I have EVER heard .

Let the controll line guys and all of there mates have their
day in the sun and ASAA can use the "Masters" for the national
rankings .

Stu .

Like you don't know the answer to that

In all seriousness though I would have to say that that is pretty damn stupid to have the event at that time. Just like Stu said. It is easily the busiest time of year for everyone. There are plenty of other weekend in the year that could be used I am sure.
