Nope I havent yet. I was going to this year but didnt get to enough contests. Yes I am sponsored by my dad who is the best help I could ask for and truely I have a job and dont need sponsors even though it would be convenient. Maybe some day I will be sponsored buy desert aircraft as that is the only one I would really like. Yes you can speak to the big name pilots, they walk around the comp just like normal people when they are not flying. My plane for next season will be a 40% comp arf 260 this season I flew a 33% sd models yak and it treated me very well.

35% will run from $2k-5K

40% will run from $5k-10K

It all depends on how much gear you need and the type of plane you buy

Yep, my 40% will be set up with the best so I will not look at the money put into it. But if you got a sd yak 37.5 or one of the others I wuld bet the final price would be $4000 something. You can look up how much I am putting into this plane but dont tell me.
