I know what it is like to smack one. It just happens... Mark, it would have been beyond what most of us have ever seen had you pulled it off.... Go big or stay home... Great job to all..

This is a typical reply from someone that doesn't know what there talking about and also that can't fly 3-D either...Just another troll

I am sure most of the people that visit these types of forums know better, but you'd be amazed at how many people think that pilots like Mark are just good programmers and have a program in the radio that makes the plane be able to do what it does Heck, even my dad, up until this past weekend, though that when I said "programming my radio" I meant installing new chips that allow me to do rolling loops and what not! He doesn't get much chance to see me fly, so I did some tricky stuff with a plane and had him watch my thumbs. The first words out of his mouth were, "So, you mean that guy that crashed was actually using his thumbs to do that??? HOLY $#!+, no wonder it crashed!!"
Mark is human, he actually did a dumbthumb, plane and simple. The reason he didn't just stop and pull up on the elevator is because he was out there to win.

Name one other person "at that level" that can do a Split S from 75 feet off the deck while rolling at over 2 rolls/second. Yes, it did get away from him but it hasn't in the past. Most everyone else out there doesn't do them because they know they can't. If they could, they most certainly would - it is the most blatent form of human ability that I have ever seen and surely would improve freestyle scores.

Mark and I spent about an a hour around R2D2 (the camp heater) one on one. We were talking about the days events, and man, I have to tell you this guy has got it bad. He is hungry for winnin' and loves the competition. His quote was "Im just going to fly the same way, Im not going to do anything different". "Im gonna win this thing, or Im gonna put it in". He is truly a competitor in every sense. A great sportsman, and he knows that with victory, a defeat is needed to keep the taste of victory ever so sweet.

Mark... Great job bro, I sat watching the scores all week, and you were rockin'. Good job to all !
