| Stiiiiiiil Huckin'!    |  Shootout Perspective -- MM's
Well folks, all I can say is WOW! What at trip! It's taken me the past 3 days to meld back into reality from our Tucson Shootout trip, and I would now like to share with you my thoughts, our fellow hobby friends, and my personal experience. It's been quieter than usual after an event, and I can only imagine that most of you who attended are simply exhausted. It was a long one for sure! So here we go....

Let's blast into the past, specifically the Friday before last. Aaaah yes, the Aussie invasion! Meet my new friends (left to right) Rod Burley, Howie, and Mick Dakers. All of these guys were pretty apprehensive traveling 1/2 way around the world, and putting their lives into the hands of this RC website discjockey who they never met. Our long time friend, confidant, and night time %40 glow wire hucker extaordinaire Snapasaurus traveled in from Connecticut for all of the action with hubbly bubbly in tow. And of course we can never forget 'ol Biffo. Nuff said! Momo and I had a party on Saturday night in honor of their presence, I gave 'em the tour of The OC, and we all had a great time. Monday marked the time to hit the bricks, and get up to Tucson. We jumped into the FlyingGiants mobile command center and headed east to the desert. We did a little bit of webcasting on the way, and had an absolute blast on the ride out.
