Official FG intervention,,TO ARMS BROTHERS!

As we've grown as a community, the Flying Giants are always looking to help a brother in trouble. Our buddy Chris Fry is headed down a path that will certainly bring him to dire consequences if we don't team up and give him the support he so desperately needs.

Chris used to be a die hard hucker. Leave early or simply blow off an event? NEVER!!!! Until now my brothers. As we speak he is being lured to singing soprano, playing tennis at the club, having ONE bloody Mary per week end (or he may substitute 2 Zimas). If we don't stop him fast Chris will be selling his Carden to finance a new wardrobe. I've seen it a thousand times!


Guys Chris hasn't bought the 7 carrot ring YET! But several of us have noticed he's slowly BUT SURELY making sacrifices for a fem-bot. I think most of you will agree that if we had it to do again, we would have set the tone about flying BEFORE the purchase of the gold band of conformity.

Thank GOD Greg Morehead is leading a team to stop Chris before it's too late. Greg is a no nonsense guy who understands the inner thoughts of fem-bots. Nothing they can do will go un-noticed by Greg. Chris is being watched 24-7 by Greg's team to make sure he doesn't go too far.


According to Greg (and phone taps) Chris is already calling her smoogy uggums. This is B A D! We fully support marriage and are all about the family. But this is our chance to REALLY help a brother by sharing what he should negotiate RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!


Biff's thoughts;
1 day per week is Chris day. Don't count on him to do ANYTHING!!!
Friday night is guy/beer night. Yes he will come to bed wreaking of hops.
The trash can be taken out on CHRIS' SCHEDULE
The lawn will be cut ONE TIME PER WEEK.
No shopping in chick stores,, other than Victoria's Secret or the place by the airport with painted glass on the front of the store.
No pink bathrooms.
Want the lid down? It takes 2 seconds to do, or 5 hours to complain about.
Mini vans are cool, but ALL SEATING OTHER THAN THE FRONT TWO HAVE TO GO!
5 weekends during the summer are set aside for events.
If you insist on coming with me YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SELF ENTERTAINMENT!
No you can't pick out the color scheme.
There will be money spent on models.
Yes I do need another airplane.
The garage isn't for cars.
I WILL NOT WEAR A TIE TO RELATIVE'S DINNER PARTIES.


Well that's just a partial list of things Chris should push for during the dating process. Chris my brother if you don't negotiate hard now,,, YOU'RE DOOMED LIKE THE REST OF US SCHMUCKS!!!!

Biff you are so very right. I have a good friend that has lost his way... he went down the same path as Chris is right now with disastrous results.
I can't express how important it is for guys to continue doing what what they did before they started dating that important lady. If you wine and dine, and shower her with all kinds of things (not your normal behavior) you are setting expectations. Now I'm not saying not to treat her right, but if you're that poor slob who is buying flowers for your lady once a week and expect that once you are married that you can stop doing this.... you are gravely wrong.

An older flying buddy once told me to "do things as you would want to forever", meaning that if you take her clubbing every week, and go dancing and go to dinner every week.... she thinks that's how you are and if you get married and think that you can go back to hanging with your friends... that's not going to work.

The point is exactly as Biff said... be YOURSELF, if she doesn't like you for that then neither of you will be happy in the long run.

And remember, No matter how beautiful she is, someone, somewhere, is sick of her sh*t!

Hold on Puckett! Leyland was a lost cause when we met and I still kept that shrimp around for at least a little while....even got him to fly in the XFC!! He's even a US citizen now thanks to my goverment friends!!! Now as for Chris.......HUMMMMMM.......he's 29 and just coming around to that womanly scent?? Yes........WE DO NEED AN INTERVENTION ON HIM!!! He needs our support and hard earned advice!!!!!!!!! As my own momma always said "CAN SHE PUSH A HOOVER LIKE ME????" Heck no momma!!!!

So much comes to mind here that I am at a loss for what to tell first. OK, here's the important stuff. Keep your own credit cards and checking account. The cost of a new airplane is only the airframe because you already had the engine and servos from another plane. Round down on the cost of the airframe....way down.

Also, if you need to get some work done on the new plane, just start telling the princess how you are nearly done sheeting the foam wings or how you really wanna work on inverted harriers next time at the field....she'll be asleep instantly and you have a few hours to work on it uninterupted.....
