Yup...DA has the best customer service that I have experienced. I bought a used DA50...it was hard to start. Did a boat load of troubleshooting however i couldn't get it to run correctly. Sent it in and i got a new ignition module (ignition module was faulty), new rod, piston, ring, bearings and a carb mod.....all for free and no hassle. 350$ worth of work for free. I'm glad my 100 cc motor is a DA..

Something locked up the engine internally. If it is a pre 3100 engine, it may have had a soft lower rod pin leading to lower rod bearing failure, which in turn can allow deflection of the rod and possibly rod failure.
Regardless of what may have happened, contact Mike Briggs and we will have the engine replaced.
AS all ways "DA service Second to no one"!!!

He didnt even ask that many questions about what happened. Just offered a new one. It is the companies that whine and tell you that it isnt covered under warrenty that make us all fly da (regardless I would anyway). Obviously I have to many good things to say about them and I think everyone else does to!!!
