Yes Bogan, Cheers for that - The new DA is on its way already and you haven't even received the broken one yet! And to top it off DA / PBG is replacing the prop that broke too! Hows that for service?!

Not only is their serrvice great, I think that a DA 50 has the best power to weight than anything out there! On a tuned pipe......SICK!

a friend here have the same problem whit the noise he send to da and they change everything new piston , new crankshaft , plug they have a good service.

OTHER THAN DA BEING THE BEST MOTOR OUT THERE I THINK THE PROBLEM WITH THAT MOTOR WAS THE PROP WAS TRYING TO BEAT THE PLANE TO THE GROUND DID IT ??? DA ROCKS !!! IM ONLY SAYING THAT BECAUSE IM AFRAID OF THAT 8 FOOT GIANT THEY GOT WORKIN FOR THEM !!! LOL

Kinda takes the risk out of buying a DA....perhaps that's why the sell so fast when you decide to sell for whatever reason hmmmmm?

Looks like the keyway sheared off on the tapered shaft after lockup or whatever allowing the hub to spin off with the other goodies that were attached to it. Nice save, just be thankful that the spinner and what was left of the prop went the other way and not entering the airframe, that could have been a catastrophic failure
