I'm setting up my Edge with dual receivers, and installing my Smart Fly cutoff. I've long since lost the instructions, so please tell me if I'm doing this right. I'm thinking that I plug it into the same channel on both receivers, that way I can kill the engine from either one. The question I have is, if I switch one receiver off and back on, the green light on it flashes until I turn off both receivers. Same happens if I don't switch both receivers on at the same time. Is this how it's supposed to behave? |

what I did with the EDC optical cutoff is the throttle is on Ch 3 on one RX and the cuttoff is on an AUX channel on the other RX.... then I mixed them together so when I hit my engine cutoff switch it is doint the normal "close the throttle barrel" shut off AND the optical cutoff at the same time

Hi Nick, The reason the LED blinks is an indication that it saw two receivers but now only sees one. This is just information for you in case you are trying to check the system operation. I have attached the user manual for the Ignition Cutoff. Please let me know if you have any other questions. |

What I'm referring to is if I turn one receiver off, it blinks, but then even after turning it back on it still blinks. Is that normal? I'm guessing that it is, it's just telling me that at some point I had a receiver go offline.

Hi Nick, You are correct in your assumption. It will always blink after loosing a receiver in a two receiver setup, even when the other one comes back on. This way you know if you lost a receiver at some point. |
